Eyelash Extension Aftercare & Service Policies
Proper eyelash extension aftercare helps maintain lash retention, protects the health of your natural lashes, and reduces the risk of irritation or premature shedding. Please review the following eyelash extension care instructions and service policies before and after your appointment.
Important Information About Lash Adhesive
Lash adhesive may cause irritation or visible sensitivity around the eyes. Reactions are typically noticed within the first 24–48 hours after your lash extension service. Our application process includes a protective barrier cream designed to help minimize irritation and sensitivity.
If irritation, swelling, or discomfort occurs, please contact Dosha immediately. Complimentary lash extension removal may be provided within 48 hours of your service if needed.
Lash Extension Aftercare Instructions
- Avoid getting lashes wet for the first 24 hours after application.
- Avoid heat, steam, saunas, and excessive moisture for 48 hours.
- Do not wear mascara for the first 24 hours.
- If mascara is used after 24 hours, only use non-waterproof formulas that are easy to remove.
- Use water-based skincare and makeup products only.
- Avoid oil-based cleansers, creams, serums, and makeup removers near the eye area.
- Do not apply heavy face creams or eye creams directly onto lash extensions.
- After the first 24 hours, gently rinse lashes daily with cool water to help prevent buildup.
- Avoid rubbing, pulling, or picking at lash extensions, as this can damage natural lashes.
- Lash extensions naturally shed over time as part of the natural lash growth cycle.
Lash Fill & Maintenance Policy
- Lash fills are recommended every 2 weeks to maintain fullness and retention.
- Additional charges may apply if fills are scheduled beyond the recommended maintenance timeframe.
- Lash extension appointments booked 4 weeks or longer after the previous service may be charged as a full set.
- Any concerns regarding your lash extension service should be reported within 3 days of your appointment.
Service Consent
By receiving eyelash extension services, clients acknowledge that they understand the procedure, aftercare requirements, and potential risks associated with lash extensions. Clients consent to treatment and release the lash specialist and Dosha Salon Spa from liability related to the service when aftercare instructions are not followed.
