Freestyle Foiling & Hybrid Techniques with Ashley McCarty
You’ll learn how to take each individual client’s head shape, goal picture, and hairline into consideration to give an individualized pattern just for the specific guest! In a world of Instagram photos and Tiktok how-to videos, how do we as professionals control the consultation and service? This class will dive in to how to break down portfolio pictures and decide which techniques to combine to create your guest’s dream hair!
About the educator…
Ashley McCarty has spent the last 16 years as a colorist, educator and now Director of Hair Color Education at Van Michael Salon in Atlanta, Georgia.
Participants to Bring:
- 8 Duckbill/foiling clips
- Foiling comb (fine tooth preferably)
- Blow Dryer
- Paddle Brush
- Color Board (I love the coo board)
- Balayage Paddle
- 2 color brushes (of colorists choice) used while foiling
- 1 Power Painter Brush (framar or similar)
